Software Operation
FIELD
Device Ensure MPEG recorder is selected.
Setup time If desired, indicate how long after the selected MPEG recorder is activated
that recording starts.
Reset If desired, enter time the MPEG recorder will be busy and unavailable for
scheduling after the end of the program.
Select one of the three recording settings configured under "System
Record
Configuration."
Preset
Select "Always" to automatically record over an existing file with the same
Record
name or "Create Unique" to record a file entered under an existing MPEG
Overwrite
filename with the first 14 characters of the original filename followed by
"yy/mm/dd-hh/mm/ss" (yy/mm/dd is the file record date specified as
year/month/ day and hh/mm/ss is the file record time in
hours/minutes/seconds).
Select "Yes" to capture any closed caption data from the source. Closed
Record CC
data captions are hidden in the video signal and decoded for display on
televisions with built-in decoders or televisions connected to external
decoders.
MPEG Perform one of the following:
Filename 

Storage Automatically selects the internal hard drive.
device
Length Enter recording duration. If you created an MPEG library resource for the
MPEG file to be recorded, enter the same time duration used for the
library resource.
If the event is locked, the event "Time" can be modified. This is the
Time
scheduled "On-Air" time of the event.
The "RECORD" command is automatically displayed.

Choose either "STOP" or "<None>."

Enter up to 27 characters to create a new filename for the
recording event. You will not be able to schedule the recorded file
for playback within the same schedule.
NOTE: Do not include spaces in the filename. The MINI-T-NX
cannot display files that have spaces in their filenames.
If you created a playback library resource for the MPEG file to be
recorded, enter the exact filename used for the library resource.
DESCRIPTION
It will almost always be "STOP."
