SCHEDULING EVENTS

The "Schedule" window, shown in Illustration 89, with a sample schedule loaded, is where
an event schedule is created.

ABOUT SCHEDULE WINDOW COMPONENTS

Controller Tabs

For each controller you are logged into, a separate tab appears on the main window. Click
on a tab to display the corresponding controller view and then enter your scheduling
information for the selected controller.

Channel Output Tabs

The output labels and channel/output assignments are entered in the "System
NOTE:
Configuration View" (see "Configuring MINI-T-NX System's Switcher
Properties," on page 85).
Output 1 tab: use to schedule events that contain switches on Output 1 tab window.
"Rec/Prev" tab: users with the MPEG record option may schedule MPEG recording
events on this tab window.

Day Tabs

Day tabs are used to schedule events on specified days. The day tabs perform output
and device conflict checking across all of the channel tabs, so that an output or a device
can never have more than one event scheduled at the same time.
Each event contains all of the starting and ending actions for a program, and thus uses up
a block of time for the length of the program. WinLGX orders these blocks vertically in the
schedule window, one row per event, so that for a particular output on a particular day, you
can see the day's 24 hours divided into programs.
