Setting of terminator
When using the conveyor synchronization function, setting of the terminator is
necessary because the encoder cable can be connected not only individually, but
in a row as shown in Fig. 5.13 below and the conveyor position can be identified
by each controller. The terminator setting is established by ON/OFF of SW4 (4
poles) equipped on the option (X8HL) printed board. A pair of SW4–1 and
SW4–2 can be used for CH1. Likewise, a pair of SW4–3 and SW4–4 can serve
for CH2. (See Table 5.1 below.)
All of four (4) poles of SW4 of the option (X8HL) printed board are
factory-set to "ON" before shipment.
