Wrapping machine Sensors

It is necessary to set sensors responsible for the final position of each function correctly, to provide
correct operation of the machine in the automatic and semi-automatic mode. Each machine is tested
and calibrated when leaving factory but it may happen, e.g. after a part replacement, that sensors will
need resetting. In most cases there is possibility to adjust placement both sensor and correlated mag-
net. Correct distance of sensor to magnet should be 5 to 15 mm.
Sensor description:
Draught bar position sensor (1) is located in the area
of bolt connecting draught bar with frame of the ma-
chine (Fig. 20) and it sends signal to the controller
when the draught bar is in the operating position.
It coworks with the magnet (2) attached to the draught
bar. Interrupted contact between sensor and magnet
stops automatic operation of the machine.
Bale presence sensor , is located under
the flap (3) on the loader (Fig. 21). When a bale
is properly situated for loading, it will press the
flap and initiate the automatic operation pro-
cess. The sensor could be switched off in the
controller menu; then wrapping process will
start only after pushing button on the controller.
 Loader position sensors , presented on
Fig. 22 , are attached on both sides of the
loader to the main frame of the
machine. One is responsible for the bot-
tom position (3) , the other for the top
one (1). It is possible to limit movement
of loading ram by sliding it in or out.
