Operating instructions and part catalogue, BALE WRAPPING MACHINE, TWISTER
There is scheme placed on each feeder (fig. 14) to simplify threading
the foil correctly. After completing that task, make sure that the foil is
being unwound its sticky side towards the bale.
Usually, after appropriate stretching on the bale, 750 mm wide foil
reduce its width to approx. 600 mm when the stretch is 70%.

Pre-stress control

When a bale is wrapped-up in the middle, a line of
10 cm length should be drawn with a felt-tip pen, in
the middle of the foil placed on the roller. Then
slowly begin wrapping the bale until moment when
foil marked by the line is placed securely on the
bale. Stop wrapping and measure length of new
line. As a result of stretching by 70% it should be
17 cm. The width of the well stretched foil should
amount to approx. 600 mm on the bale.
In case foil stretching in incorrect, check for the following:
if the aluminum tensioning rollers rotate freely, without jams. In case anomaly, check if the
gear between the rollers is not damaged or requires lubrication and if the roller bearings
work correctly .
if the upper and lower springs pressing the rollers against roll of foil are in their place and
the screws holding it is not damaged.
if the screw preventing rotation of the axle holding upper and lower spring is in place and is
undamaged.

Foil overlapping

Adjust feeder hight to provide even foil overlapping. The foil should be placed on the bale as
symmetrically as possible with respect to the bale center.
The TWISTER wrapping machine is assembled in the factory to operate with 750mm foil and for-
ward feed ca. 23-25 cm between the wraps.
This setting is normally applied for 2+2=4, 2+2+2=6 or 2+2+2+2=8 foil layers on the bale.
It is not recommended to wrap up bales at bad weather conditions!
