6. HANDLING
6.1.
Delivery
The manufacturer delivers the wrapping machine as a complete unit but partly disassembled.
Standard transportation dimensions is: length: 2,27 x width: 2,64 x hight: 2,90 meters.

The wrapping machine may be loaded or unloaded with use of a forklift. The double fork should
enter under the cross beam of the main frame and the folded draught bar beam.
6.2.
Storage
Wrapping machine should be cleaned before storage. The pressure cleaning should not be
applied particularly near the hydraulic and electric connections and around the bearing area.
The electric control box is the most sensitive machine piece and is located behind the valve
block, under a cover, on the left-hand (LH) side of the machine.
Wait until the machine is dry. Lubricate the bearings and other parts in accordance with the
lubricating instructions. Protect the knifes with corrosion protecting oil.
The wrapping machine should be stored in a dry place in order to minimize risk of corrosion.
