Wiring of Signal Cable

When wiring cables, use separate routes for power supply and signals so that they are not mixed.
If the routes cross due to an unavoidable reason, they should cross perpendicularly. Use a steel
plate to bridge them.

Connection to Terminal Board Unit

To connect the process signal cable connected to the field devices to the terminal board unit,
follow the next procedure.
1) Use the crimp terminal to connect to the terminal board unit.
The size of the screws is M3.5 for the terminal board unit and short bar (common line
treatment and shield treatment).
2) Consulting the expansion connection diagram, connect the external signal line to the
terminal board unit.
3) Consulting the expansion connection diagram, connect the shield to the shield processing
bus-bar (near the cable bit) or the short bar of the terminal board unit.
If the shield processing bus-bar is near the cable bit, peel the shield line to the neighborhood
of the cable bit and connect it to the shield processing bus-bar.
Typically, this method is used and the long segment of shield line is peeled for multi-wire
cables with batch isolation.
If there is no shield processing bus-bar and the short bar attached to each terminal board unit
works as the shield processing bus-bar, peel the shorter segment of shield line. Typically,
this method is used for multi-wire cables with individual isolation.
