Wiring of Ethernet Cable

This section describes how to connect Ethernet cables. Before the installation, review the work
conditions and work procedure.

Work Conditions

• Work should be done at a place not exposed to direct sunlight with little moisture and dust.
• Avoid abrupt changes in temperature that causes condensation.
• Turn off the AC input switch and unplug the device before the work.
• Wearing work gloves is recommended to keep your fingers from injury caused by the sharp
corner of the print board.
• Before the work, touch a grounded metal to discharge electrostatic buildup from your body.
Otherwise the electronic components may be damaged.

Work Procedure

• Don't touch a place that is not necessary to touch for the work.
• Be careful not to loose the screws removed. Don't drop them in the main unit.
• Contact our service representative window if any errors or problems occur.
• The print boards have sharp protrusions. Be careful not to cut your fingers.
• When you use a screwdriver for connecting connectors or installing cards, use an appropriate
one that fits the screws.
The screwdrivers that don't fit the screws are unstable due to the play in the hole. Using such
screwdrivers may damage the hole since the force cannot be exerted properly.
WARNING
Never disassemble any part unless this manual tells you to do it.
Be extremely cautious when you remove the power supply unit. The high-voltage part may
cause an electric shock.
