1. System Configuration
2) Vibration
2 to 9 Hz Double amplitude 0.75 mm
9 to 150 Hz
In the case of complicated vibration conditions or if earthquake proofing is required, consult
us.
3) Dust, noxious gas
The amount of dust in the room should be maximum 0.3 mg/m
environment is no problem. Such noxious gases as hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, and
chlorine, and such conductive dust as iron dust and carbon must be minimized.
4) Electric field
The electric field strength should be maximum 1 V/m. No problem if it is near the
broadcasting communication antenna. When a transceiver is used, the output should be
maximum 1 W and it should be 1 m or more away from the equipment.
If PCS-DS51 is installed in the proper screened cabinet, the electric field strength is
improved maximum 10 V/m. This means that the proper screened system way conform to the
EMC Directive, 89/336/EEC.
5) Magnetic field
If the CRT display unit is used near a high-voltage or extra-high voltage transmission line or
power receiving equipment and when the alternating field value is larger than 0.5 µT, picture
"swing" or "color deviation" will occur.
6) Static electricity
The static electricity in the instrument room should be maximum 1 kV. For the floor surface,
use destaticized material (surface insulation resistance 108 to 1010Ω). In some cases, to
apply antistatic agent is effective.
If PCS-DS51 is installed in the proper screened cabinet, and connected to the specified
earthing grounding, the system way conform to the EMC Directive.
*1 We have a plan that we will present the claration of comfurmity on the end of this March.

Power Supply Equipment

In order to operate the system stably, good-quality power supply is required.
