Cautions in Earthing

SVR-DS is provided with a power supply cable with grounding. When grounding, make sure to
ground the grounding terminal of the power supply connector (100 Ω or less earthing).
If the UPS (uninterruptible power supply system) is used, the grounding should be taken from
the UPS. If the power supply cable of the UPS is unplugged, it means SVR-DS operates without
grounding.

Grounding Electrode

Provide the grounding electrode specifically for the TOSDIC-CIE DS system. The grounding
resistance should be 100 Ω or less.

Grounding Bus

The grounding bus should be 5.5 mm
Never connect other devices than ones for the TOSDIC-CIE DS system to the grounding bus.
Connection to the common ground (in the same room)
When grounding to the common grounding electrode in the same room, use either a bolt
connector or a lead-in terminal.
