PE filter
PE filter for Transferpette® electronic, 250–5000 µl:
A hydrophobic PE filter is used to prevent liquid from entering the pipette.
Change the filter if it becomes wet or contaminated.
a.
Use a flat object, such as a screwdriver.
b.
Remove the filter carefully, without damaging the tip cone.
Remove the filter before autoclaving!
The device can also be operated without a filter.

10.3 Charge and replace rechargeable battery

A fully charged rechargeable battery allows approx. 8 h of continuous pipetting (over 4000 pipetting
cycles) of samples of water-like viscosity and density.
> Before charging, ensure that the power adapter is suitable for the voltage present in the labora-
tory.
> The instrument must not be charged in an explosive environment.
> The rechargeable battery can be charged only in the Transferpette® electronic.
Recharge rechargeable battery

Pipetting during the charging process?
During charging, you can continue to work with the Transferpette® electronic . When the rechargeable
battery is fully discharged, it takes a few minutes to reach a certain minimum charge capacity. this is
necessary for safe operation of the instrument. The last settings made are stored in the EEPROM of the
instrument. In the case of complete discharge or when changing the battery, these settings remain
saved!

Insert the charging cable plug of the power adapter into
the socket provided for this purpose at the top of the
Transferpette® electronic .

The charging process starts automatically.
ð
During the charging process, the bars of the recharge-
able battery capacity indicator continually run from the
bottom to the top.
ð
Once the bars of the display have stopped, this means
that the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
