Returning the APC smartTouch Airborne Particle Counter for service
First contact your local Merck representative to make arrangements. If you don't know or don't have a Merck representative, you can
contact Merck directly:

or call your local Merck KGaA representative.
Customer Service will need the following information when you call:
• The instrument model number, i.e. APC SmartTouch
• The instrument serial number
• A purchase order number (unless under warranty)
• A shipping address
• A billing address
All instruments must be properly decontaminated prior to packing and return to the Service Center or Service Point. Use the original
carrying case and if available, the original packing material when returning the instrument. Please include the rotor and the acces-
sory hardware from the scope of supply.
