Removal of Zero Count Filter

Pull Zero Count Filter off instrument and replace
the protective cap.
If you are not going to start using the instrument
immediately please replace the protective cover.

Normal Purge Cycle Operation

It is advised that during normal operations the instrument should be purged at least once per day.
The normal times should be set as follows using the method described above.
• Set the purge time to two 2 minutes and the count time to five 5 minutes
• Press the start button
. After a two 2 minutes purge, the five 5 minute sampling is started. There should be no more than
one (1) particle counted at any size in five 5 minutes.
NOTe:
If the instrument does not go to zero (one (1) particle in 5 minutes is considered zero), run a extended purge cycle as described
above if the instrument still not give a zero count please contact Merck.
