Screw the diaphragm rupture indicator into the dosing head.
CAUTION!
The diaphragm rupture warning system can
fail.

Make sure that the safety plunger (1) and
its pin can move freely.

Start the pump and tighten the screws crosswise at a 100%
stroke.
Tightening torque
24.
Position the protective cover (5) on the turret (8) and screw in
the safety screw.
Check the tightening torque of the screws after
–
24-hour operation.
With PP dosing heads, check the tightening
–
torque again after three months.
WARNING!
Feed chemical warning
After a diaphragm rupture, additional feed chem‐
ical will be present in the diaphragm rupture sensor
and the feed channel in the dosing head.
–
Protect yourself from the feed chemical if using
hazardous or unknown feed chemicals.
