Importing audio data to the HDD Jukebox

You can record/import audio data from a CD, an
externally connected component or a USB storage
device. You can also import audio data from a
shared folder on your computer.

Prepare the unit for recording.
Select the function to be recorded.
 To record a CD:
See "Playing a CD" (page 51).
 To record a radio broadcast or DAB
service*:
See "Listening to the radio or DAB
services" (page 54).

 To record from an externally connected

To change the recording settings,
enter the Options menu and
HDD REC 
change the settings (pages 29 to
32).
The items that appear in the Options menu
depend on the function.

Recording starts.
 When recording a CD:
 When recording a radio broadcast or DAB

Note
To record from a digital media player via
DMPORT, make sure to use the DIGITAL
MEDIA PORT adapter. If not, recording cannot
be done.
Tip
A search for title information is automatically
performed if the unit is connected to the Internet.

At the end of recording, the display
automatically changes to the main display
of the CD function.

Press  to stop recording.
connected component (DMPORT/
AUDIO IN):
At the end of the recording operation,
the display automatically changes back to
the main display after title information
has been obtained (only when "Auto
title" is set to "On" and "Track mark" is
set to "LEVEL SYNC"). Press  to stop
recording.
