Thermal/Cooling Requirements

The LEC-BTS is designed to operate at its maximum CPU speeds and requires a thermal solu-

tion to cool the SoC. ADLINK offers a heat spreader (separate order number) for cooling. This

facilitates future module upgrades without the need to re-design the custom heatsink.

The optional heat spreader plate requires another form

of cooling, such as a fan. A heat spreader plate is not a

complete thermal solution for the LEC-BTS
