Saturation
The oximeter displays saturation level between 1% and
100%.
Pulse rate
The oximeter displays pulse rate between 25 and 350
beats per minute (bpm). The sensor accuracy ranges do
not apply to pulse rates above 350 bpm.
Data update period
The data update period is two seconds typically, and 10
seconds in extreme conditions.

6.3 Sensor Performance Considerations

Inaccurate measurements can be caused by:
Incorrect application of the sensor.
Placement of the sensor on an extremity with a blood
pressure cuff, arterial catheter, or intravascular line.
Excessive patient activity.
Intravascular dyes, such as indocyanine green or
methylene blue.
Externally applied coloring, such as nail polish or
pigmented cream.
Failure of covering the sensor site with opaque
materials in high ambient light conditions.
