1. Start the configuration tool.
2. Select the Message Control tab.
3. Type a new message in the Message text field.
4. Press the Send Message button to update the scrolling text
immediately.

4.8 Remote Commands

To remotely control the DSP-1000, certain basic and additional
commands for maintenance, setup and immediate updates are available.
As an example, they can be used to restart the unit, change the scrolling
text or get the HDD content. The following commands are available:
1 reboot
2 downnow
3 downfromserver
4 upload

This command will reboot the device.
This command will download files according to the
down.lst file.
Downloads files according to the download path (for
schedule or off).
This command will upload files according to the
