The Basic User Menu is accessed by holding the UP button when the processor is first powered up. Keep
holding the UP button through the INTERNAL SELF TEST until the processor displays a screen similar to the
following:
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to highlight the desired option. Press the START button to access the desired
option. Press the STOP button to return to normal operation.

Setting the Date and Time

When Option 1 is highlighted, press the START button to select it. The following screen will be displayed:
With the keypad (see page 40), enter the correct date using the MM/DD/YYYY format and the correct time
using the 24 hour (military) format. Press the START button to save the information entered and return to the

Basic User Menu.

Setting the Temperature Units

When Option 2 is highlighted, press the START button to select it. The following screen will be displayed:
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to toggle the default temperature unit setting between ºF and ºC. When the
desired unit is displayed, press the START button to save and return to the Basic User Menu.
