STRAY FLOUR PARTICLES:

In order to reduce the emission of stray flour particles while
loading the bowl, it is recommended as follows:
- Empty the flour bag or the container containing the flour wi-
thout shaking it.
- Pour in the water before putting the flour in if that is possi-
ble

THE BEATER WILL NOT START

• Check that:
- The machine is plugged in.
- The electrical power supply to the socket is correct.
- The safety guard is down
• If the beater stops during operation:
- The motor temperature sensor has been triggered or the
electronic system has detected an overload. If overheated,
wait a few minutes more before restarting. Reduce the load
in the bowl and disconnect the appliance for at least one

MECHANICAL PARTS

• This beater requires only minimum maintenance (the bea-
rings, motor and mechanical parts are greased for life).
• It is recommended the tension and wear of the drive belt is
checked at least once a year.
To check it, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the beater.
- Remove the top cover (screw at the back + lug at the front).

CHECKING THE SAFETY DEVICE

• The safety device must be checked frequently to ensure
that it is operating correctly. The motor should stop when the
safety guard is opened.

- Always start at slow speed during the water/flour mixing
- Do not shake an empty flour bag. Roll it with care.

- The condition and tension of the drive belt (See § 6.1)
- The connection between the motor and speed selector.
If the problem persists, contact your local dea-
ler's service department.
- By tapping the tool with a mallet after clearing the pin from
the bayonet.
- Rub down the distorted part where necessary.

- If the drive belt needs tightening, unscrew the 3 motor re-
taining screws to move it.
Note: The toothed belt should be only slightly tensioned.
- If the drive belt needs changing, simply slide it off the dri-
ven pulley and then take it off the drive pulley without chan-
ging the position of the motor.
- Check the electrical connections, clean and refit in the re-
verse order.
• If this does not happen:
- Do not use the machine.
- Have it adjusted by your local dealer's service department.
