Connecting the USB Cable and the AC Adapter
Confirm that the IE850A main unit and the target system are turned off, and connect the AC adapter
and the USB cable as shown below.

Turning on the IE850A Main Unit

Confirm that the target system is turned off, and turn on the power-supply switch of the IE850A. The
ACT LED of the IE850A, which was off, will blink or light up. The TARGET LED of the IE850A will be lit
up in red.
If the ACT LED is off or TARGET LED is lit up in green or off, refer to chapter 6, Troubleshooting.

Turning on the Target System
After the target system is turned on, the TARGET LED of the IE850A will be lit up in orange. If the
TARGET LED is lit up in green or off, refer to chapter 6, Troubleshooting.
3.7
Starting the Debugger
Start the debugger. For details on the subsequent debugging procedures, refer to the user's manual for
the debugger you are using.
3.8
Shutdown Procedure
Shut down the development system according to the procedure below.
Exit the debugger. -> Turn the target system off. -> Turn the IE850A off.
