2.7 Connecting USB Interface Cable and AC Adapter

Plug the USB interface cable supplied with the QB-RL78L12 into the USB connector of the host machine, and plug the
other side into the USB connector on the rear of the QB-RL78L12.
Plug the AC adapter supplied with the QB-RL78L12 into a receptacle and plug the other side into the power supply
connector on the rear of the QB-RL78L12.
For QB-RL78L12 connector positions, see Figure 2-10.

2.8 Switching Power On and Off

Be sure to switch the power on and off according to the following procedures.
- Switching power on
<1> QB-RL78L12 power on
<2> Target system power on
<3> Debugger startup
Note In the procedures, <2> is unnecessary if the target system is not connected.
Caution If the wrong sequence was used for the operation, the target system or QB-RL78L12 may fail
