Power-Supply Cable for the Emulation Adapter

The IE850A can supply power to the emulation adapter by inserting the power-supply cable for the
emulation adapter which comes with the IE850A into the VOUT connector of the IE850A and
connecting it to the emulation adapter.
Whenever the power-supply switch of the IE850A is turned on, it starts supplying power through the
VOUT connector. However, the IE850A has a facility for detecting an abnormal voltage or overcurrent
at the destination of the supply of power through VOUT (i.e., the emulation adapter and target system).
If the IE850A detects an abnormal state before it starts supplying power through VOUT, it does not start
supplying power through VOUT. Furthermore, if the IE850A detects an abnormal state while it is
supplying power through VOUT, it stops supplying power through VOUT.
Stoppage of the supply of power through VOUT is indicated by an error message from the debugger
and the state of a status LED (TARGET LED) of the IE850A.

(1) IE850A-side connector
This connector is for connection to the VOUT connector of the IE850A.
(2) Emulation-adapter-side connector
This connector (LEAR-02V-S from JST) is for connection to the power-supply connector on the
emulation adapter.
