Search Methods

For search and locking a moving prism, different search methods are available depending on
TPS model. In the table below an overview of supported search methods for different Leica
TPS is listed. For more technical information on search methods, refer to the documentation
for each sensor.

PowerTracker / iCR50
TS15 / TS50 / MS50
iCR60
TS16 / TS60 / MS60
The TPS rotates around its horizontal axis until the sensor finds a prism, then the TPS stops
rotating and a vertical scan is performed.
1. Select PowerSearch from the drop down list.
2. Use the
left or right direction.
3. TPS rotates until it finds a prism. To continue
searching, tap search button again.
