Notification Message Control
This setting is only available when the V-Tap PRI is operating in Pass-
Through mode: see Jumper settings in
The notification message can be played by the system in 2 possible
ways. Or both parties of the call hear the message at the same time,
or the message is heard only by the remote caller when dialling in.
With this so-called pre-notification, an inbound call is answered by
the V-Tap automatically, then the message is played and then the
call is passed to the PBX.
The Notification Message Control field is a numeric value (bit-wise):
+1 = Enable notification for incoming calls.
+2 = Enable notification for outgoing calls.
+4 = Enable Pre-notification mode for incoming calls.
+8 = Force notification always on incoming calls, so also for calls
that are not recorded.
+16 = Force recording always, so also for calls without notification.
For example, the value 5 does a pre-notification on incoming calls.
Note that pre-notification for outgoing calls is not possible.
The message itself is stored in a WAV file on the system and can be
changed with an SD card or with FTP.

DTMF ** Action Control
This setting is also only available when the V-Tap PRI is operating in
Pass-Through mode: see Jumper settings in
The user can press DTMF * twice on the phone to start or stop
recording the ongoing call.
The DTMF ** Action Control field is a numeric value (bit-wise):
+1 = Start recording; all calls are default not recording.
+2 = Stop recording; all calls are default recording.
+4 = Start or Stop can be pressed only once (disable toggling).
+8 = Single DTMF * needed for action.
+16 = use DTMF # instead of DTMF *
+32 = Disable action from call that are in the numberlist.
+64 = DTMF is detected from the remote side, else local side.
After start-recording, the notification is played (NOTIFY.WAV).
After stop-recording, the system beeps are played (BEEPS.WAV).
