12. Wire Preparation: Trim or strip wallbox wires to
the length indicated by the strip gauge on the back
of the dimmer/switch.
Push-in: To reinstall, simply insert wire by hand. Use
#14 AWG solid copper wire only. Insert wires fully.
DO NOT use stranded or twisted wire. For aluminum
wire, consult an electrician.
Screw terminals: Tighten securely. Screw
terminals are for use with solid copper wire
only. DO NOT use stranded or twisted wire.
For aluminum wire, consult an electrician.
13. Replacing light bulbs:
Pull service switch out to open (off) position to
replace light bulbs (this cuts all power to the load).
Push service switch in to closed (on) position after
new bulb is installed to restore power.
