On occasion, you might need to change the parameters by which the
CTF878 communicates with a PC. While programming, refer to the
Meter Menu Map, Figure 4-10 on page 4-14.
IMPORTANT:
The parameters set here MUST agree with those set
on the PC, or the devices cannot communicate.
To check or change these parameters:
1. From the Meter menu, scroll to the Communication entry and
[ENTER]
press
. The Communications window appears similar to
Figure 4-5 below.
Node ID
Baud Rate
Stop Bits
Data Bits

2. The first prompt asks for the node identification number, which
can be any number from 1 to 240.
IMPORTANT:
Do NOT change the node ID unless instructed by the
factory.
a. Press
[ENTER]
to open the text box.
b. Use the numeric keys to enter the node ID.
c. Press
[ENTER]
to confirm the entry.
