<Inspection>
Visually check that the suction valve is free from abnormalities such as tears, distortions, cracks,
indentations, etc.
Note
 The suction valve is a consumable item. If any abnormality is found, use a new
reprocessed valve.
<Attachment>
Note
 The suction valve and the suction valve cylinder have an orange marking. Check the
marking on the suction valve and that on the suction valve cylinder to prevent an error in
attachment.
(1) Attach the suction valve to the endoscope's suction valve cylinder, align the two metal ridges of
the suction valve with the two holes in the suction valve cylinder, and push in the valve firmly.
(2) Visually and manually check that the valve fits properly without any bulging of the skirt. Also
confirm that the valve cannot be rotated.
