Possible causes/consequences and
& WARNING Risk of an accident due to insufficient tyre pressure
Tyres with insufficient tyre pressure pose the following risks:
The tyres may burst, especially as the load and vehicle speed increase.

The tyres may wear excessively and/or unevenly, which may greatly impair tyre traction.

‑ The driving characteristics, steering and braking may be greatly impaired.
R
You could then lose control of the vehicle.
Observe the recommended tyre pressures.

Adjust the tyre pressure if necessary.

Stop the vehicle, paying attention to road and traffic conditions.

Check the tyre pressure and the tyres.

The yellow tyre pressure monitoring system warning lamp (pressure loss/malfunction) flashes for approximately one
minute and then remains lit.
The tyre pressure monitoring system is faulty.
& WARNING There is a risk of an accident if the tyre pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning
If the tyre pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning, it is not able to issue a warning if there is pressure loss in
one or more of the tyres.
