▪ If using the pump with the gas ballast control open (in position 'I' or position 'II').
▪ If operating the pump with an inlet pressure greater than 10 mbar (1 x 10³ Pa) for
extended periods.
▪ If the pump is frequently pumped down from atmospheric pressure.
The oil mist filter will trap the oil exhausted from the pump; the oil can be reused if it is
not contaminated.

4.9 Leak-test the system

Leak-test the system and seal any leaks found after installing the RV pump, to prevent
leakage of substances out of the system and leakage of air into the system.
