Chapter 1 General Description
・8 x 2.5-inch drive model
(1) Optical Disk Drive Cage (Option)
A bay for installing an optical disk drive.
Either of the following drive can be installed.
- DVD-ROM drive
- DVD Super MULTI drive
(2) Drive box
Use this when installing the optional 2.5-type
HDD cage and built-in DVD addition kit.
(3) 2.5-inch Drive Bay(Standard)
Bay for installing HDDs. The sequential
number indicates the corresponding slot
numbers. Starts at 1 from left slot. All bays
include Dummy Trays for standard.
・8 x 3.5-inch drive model
(1) 3.5-inch drive bay
Bay for installing HDDs. The slot numbering
start at 1 from left lower slot. All bays include
Dummy Trays for standard.
(2) Optical disk drive cage
A cage for installing an optical disk drive.
Either of the following drive can be installed.
－ DVD-ROM drive
－ DVD Super MULTI drive
(4) iLO service port USB connector
A USB connector used for connecting to iLO
such as for acquiring log. For detail, refer to iLO

(5) USB3.0 connector (Front)
Connectors for connecting USB 3.0 interface
devices.
(6) Pull-out tab
A tab for showing the model number and serial
number of the server.
(3) iLO service port USB connector
A USB connector used for connecting to iLO
such as for acquiring log. For detail, refer to iLO

Connectors for connecting USB 3.0 interface
devices.
