9. Upload the alias files from each AN-X and save them. Import them
into RSLogix 5000. There will be some errors from duplicates.
10. Create the ControlLogix application
11. Add connections to both AN-X modules.
12. Add logic to detect the active AN-X and to detect the switch from
primary to backup (see sample).
13. On each scan, copy the inputs from the active AN-X to an internal
array.
14. On each scan, copy an output array to the outputs on the active
AN-X.
15. Write the control program in terms of the internal arrays
Sample Application
The following ladder logic shows a sample application that implements
redundancy.
It first checks that connections to both AN-X modules are good.
