Use this option to configure security settings.
Use 2FA
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a method of
confirming a user's claimed identity by utilizing a
combination of two different components.
In other words, it is a method of authenticating the
registered mobile devices such as mobile phones and
smartphones on NVR for security when proceeding
settings, search and upgrade.
When you select Registerastion, the following message
will appear.
• 2FA device registration is supported only via IDIS
Mobile app.
• The administrator account is required to configure
this option.
• The maximum number of device that can be
registrated per an account is 4.
When the moible device registration is complete, the
following message will appear. Select the Disable button
at the bottom left corner of the screen to deactivate 2FA
function via the email of an administrator user account.
• To disable 2FA function via e-mail, set the mail
server supporting SSL/TLS. For more information on
e-mail, refer to Mail on page 72 .
• The function can be accessed only by users with
administrator-level.
