Configuring the ANG-1000 with Aurorean Policy Manager
Advanced Utilities provided by the ANG-1000 include:
r Setting the MAC Address of a newly attached ANG-1000 when you
want to quickly connect to a cable service provider. MAC addresses
are used by service providers to identify supported users.
r Clearing the System Logfile - shown in the Device Status window -
when you want to erase old and display updated information.
r Soft Rebooting to reset the ANG-1000 without recycling power. This
function is similar to pressing

1 Click the Advanced Utilities menu option.
The Advanced Utilities window appears as shown in Figure 84.
2 Select the option of your choice and click Apply.
When choosing Internet MAC Address Assignment, look for the first
MAC address listed on a label on the bottom of the ANG-1000.
