The PI data type is either an unsigned (UInt32) or a signed (Int32) 32-bit
measured value. The value that is largest in the positive direction is declared as
an INVALID value and is returned when reading out the measured values marked
with "-" in the table "Measured Values" in section "Measured Values Overview."
