The APEX control unit with its system components is an
automatically operating control unit for monitoring,
controlling and regulating pressurized enclosures in the
hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 21. The enclosure of type
07-37A2-2211/*730 is made of stainless steel V4A.
The protected internals inside the pressurized enclosure can be enabled by the
APEX control unit up to 5 A, single-phase directly or indirectly by additional
switchgear.
The advantage of the Ex p control unit APEX is that all required Ex p components
are integrated in one control unit and it is possible to connect Ex p volumes of up
to 70 liters to be protected diectly.
The APEX control unit regulates the purging gas flow, internal housing pressure
and automatic compensation of leakage losses by means of the integrated
proportional purging gas valve.
