The 10-port valve is used for sample preparation. For this, the central port
(12-11) can be connected to the other 10 ports one after the other using
the selector (12-13).
The transfer tubing is connected to the central port. Liquids can be aspira-
ted into the transfer tubing by one of the 10 ports with the aid of a Dos-
ino and then transported to any other port by reversing the flow.
The following figure shows a 10-port valve with a potential use setup for
the ports:
