When the power window cannot be closed

If the pinch prevention function operates abnormally and the door glass cannot be closed,
use the power window switch in the driver's seat to perform the following operations.
●
Power window switch with the vehicle stopped and the engine switch
"ON" (vehicles without smart entry & start system) or the "engine start /
stop" switch in ignition ON mode (vehicles with smart entry & start system).
You can close the door glass by continuing to pull the button in the
"automatic fully closed" position.

If the door glass does not close even after performing the above operations, initialize the pinch prevention
function according to the following procedure.
Continue pulling the power window switch in the "automatic fully closed" position, close
the door glass, and then continue pulling the switch for another 6 seconds.
Press and hold the power window switch in the "automatic fully open" position, fully open
the door glass, and then press and hold the switch for another 2 seconds.
Continue pulling the power window switch again in the "automatic fully closed" position,
close the door glass, and then continue pulling the switch for another 2 seconds. If you
release the switch while the door glass is operating, you will have to start over from the beginning. If the
product does not turn over and close completely even after performing the above operations, have a
Toyota dealer check it.
