When the smart entry & start system does not work properly

Doors and back doors cannot be locked / unlocked

About battery consumption
●
The standard battery life is 1‑2 years.
●
When the battery level is low, a warning buzzer sounds from inside the vehicle when the
engine is stopped. (P. 314)
●
Since the electronic key is constantly receiving radio waves, the battery will be
consumed even when it is not in use. The battery may be exhausted in the
following situations. Replace with a new battery.
･ Smart entry & start system or wireless remote control does not work
･ The operating range has become narrower
･ The LED of the electronic key does not light
●
To prevent significant battery drain, do not store electronic keys within 1 m of
magnetically generated appliances such as:
･ TV
・ computer
･ Mobile phones, cordless phones, and chargers
・ Desk lamp
・ Electromagnetic cooker
