5-1. First of all

Fuel pump shut-off system

When the engine is stopped and the SRS airbag is activated, the fuel
pump shut-off system is activated to stop the fuel supply and minimize
fuel leakage.
To start the engine after the system has been activated, follow these steps:
Vehicles without smart entry & start system
Set the engine switch to "ACC" or "LOCK"
Restart the engine
Vehicles equipped with smart entry & start system
Set the "engine start / stop" switch to accessory mode or OFF
Restart the engine

Before starting the engine

Please check under the vehicle carefully.
If you find a fuel leak on the ground, the fuel system is damaged and needs to
be repaired. In that case, do not restart the engine.
