Security function for unlocking operation
If the door is not opened within about 30 seconds after the unlocking operation, it will be locked
automatically to prevent theft.
When locked by the security function, if the position of the electronic key detects that the
electronic key is within the operating range of the room, it may be unlocked again.

Power saving function
The power saving function works to prevent the battery of the electronic key and the battery of the vehicle from running out
during long‑term parking.

In the following situations, unlocking with the smart entry & start system
may take some time.
‑The electronic key was left for 10 minutes or more within about 2 m outside the car.
･ I did not use the smart entry & start system for more than 5 days.
●
If you do not use the smart entry & start system for 14 days or more, you will not
be able to unlock it except in the driver's seat. In this case, hold the door handle of
the driver's seat, or unlock it with the wireless remote controller or mechanical
key.
