About towing

For towing, ask a Toyota dealer or a specialist as much as possible.

Towing direction
Start the engine of the towed vehicle
Vehicles without smart entry & start system: If the engine does not start,
set the engine switch to "ACC" or "ON".
Vehicles equipped with smart entry & start system:
When the engine does not start, set the "engine start / stop" switch to
accessory mode or ignition.ONPlease switch to mode.
Set the shift lever of the towed vehicle to N and then release
the parking brake.
While towing, pay attention to the brake lights of the car in front and do not let the
rope sag.
