5-2. Emergency measures
When a flat tire occurs (vehicle with a tire puncture emergency repair kit)
Spare tires are not installed on vehicles equipped with a tire puncture emergency
repair kit.
If a tire has a flat tire, you can use the tire flat tire emergency repair kit for
emergency repair. You can make an emergency repair for a slight flat tire
that has been pierced by a nail or screw. (One tire can be repaired for each
puncture repair liquid.) Depending on the damage to the punctured tire, the
emergency repair kit may not be able to repair the tire. (P.331)
For repair or replacement of tires that have been repaired with the tire puncture
emergency repair kit, please contact your Toyota dealer. Tire puncture emergency
repair Kit emergency repair is a temporary measure. Repair and replace the tires
as soon as possible.
