About SRS airbags

Be sure to observe the following.
Failure to observe can result in serious injury or, in the worst case, death.
All drivers and occupants should wear their seat belts properly.
SRS airbags are intended to assist seat belts.
The passenger SRS airbag inflates with great force and can cause serious injury or
even death in the worst case, especially if the occupant is too close to the airbag.
This is especially dangerous if the occupant is close to the inflated area of the SRS
airbag. Adjust the seat back to keep the seat as far away from the SRS airbag as
possible and sit straight.
If your child is not seated firmly in the seat, the inflating impact of the SRS
airbag can cause serious injury or even death in the worst case. If your child
is too small to use the seat belt, secure it with a child seat.
We recommend that children sit in the rear seats and wear child seats or seat
belts. (P. 100)
