2-1. How to drive

When the vehicle is stopped while driving in the M position

(Vehicles equipped with 7-speed sports sequential shiftmatic mode)
When the vehicle is stopped, it will be automatically downshifted to M1.
When driving after stopping, it will start from M1.
After stopping, it will be fixed to M1.
When the shift lever cannot be shifted from P

Even if the shift lever is set to M, if the M indicator does not light or blinks
(when driving in 7-speed sports sequential shiftmatic mode)
There is a risk of system malfunction. Please have it inspected at a Toyota dealer
immediately.
In this case, the control is the same as when the shift lever is set to D.

Shift down limit warning buzzer

(When driving in 7-speed sports sequential shiftmatic mode)
To ensure safety and driving performance, there are restrictions on downshift operations, and
even if you operate the shift lever or paddle shift switch, you may not be able to downshift.
(At this time, the buzzer sounds twice.)

Reverse warning buzzer

When the shift lever is put into R, a buzzer sounds to notify the driver that it is
in R.
