Driving in cold weather
In preparation for cold weather, take corrective measures such as preparation and inspection
before operating properly.

Preparation before winter

Use the following items that are suitable for the outside temperature.
・ engine oil
・ Cooling water
･ Washer liquid

Check the amount and specific density of the battery.
●
Prepare winter tires (4 wheels) and tire chains (for front tires).
All four wheels are of the same size and brand, and there is no
significant difference in wear. Prepare tire chains that match the
tire size.

Before driving
Do the following depending on your situation:

If the door or wiper freezes, do not force it to open or move it.
Melt the ice with lukewarm water and wipe off the water
immediately.

If there is snow on the outside air intake in front of the front
window glass, remove the snow for the air conditioner fan to
operate normally.
●
If there is ice around your legs, remove the ice.
●
If there is snow or ice on the fenders or braking device, remove it.
■ When driving
Start slowly and drive at a low speed.
