BASIC PROCEDURES
Release accelerator pedal and use
brakes to completely stop the vehi-
cle.
Set shift lever in PARK position.
Use the vehicle emergency stop
switch to stop the vehicle.
Remove D.E.S.S. key from D.E.S.S.
post.
If you must park on a steep incline or if
the vehicle is carrying cargo, block the
wheels using rocks or bricks.
