3. Place support brackets to tail gate.
3.1 Install support brackets.
3.2 Turn support brackets inward.
3.3 Close tail gate latches.

WARNING
Make sure you do not leave hands
between latches and tail gate.
4. Install tail gate extension.
4.1 Align and insert cargo exten-
sion into the vehicle's "LINQ"
opening.
NOTE: Make sure latches are in
the open position.
4.2 Turn latch to the lock position.
EQUIPMENT (IF AVAILABLE ON YOUR MODEL)

5. Install tail gate extension.
5.1 Install bracket.
5.2 Place bracket.
5.3 Tighten cargo extender screw
8 N•m ± 1 N•m (71 lbf•in ± 9 lbf•in)

Cargo extension can be aligned into
the vehicle's "LINQ" openings as on
pictures below.
