When in Windows, data which
uses proportional fonts cannot
be printed exactly as viewed on
the screen.
When printing graphic data, the
output and the screen are differ-
ent to some extent.
One page is printed halfway
and ejected, and the data of that
page is extended and printed on
the next page.
The Page Layout is shifting
The paper comes out from a dif-
ferent tray than expected.

Possible Causes, Descriptions, and Solutions
Aren't you printing with the setting that replaces the True
Type Font with the Printer Font? If you want to print with the
same characters as viewed onscreen, use the following con-
figuration:
• Set a check mark in the [User Settings] box in the [Print Qual-
ity] tab of the printer driver, then click on [Change User Set-
tings] and choose the [True Type Font]. Click on [Print in True
Type Font Image] and the set a check mark.
When configuring the printer driver to use graphics com-
mand, you can print with this command from the actual ma-
chine.
If you want to print accurately, set the printer driver to print
without using the graphics command.
It is possible that the configuration of the [Automatic Paper
Ejection Time] in the Printer Initialization setting has been set
too short. You can either set it to longer time or [None].
Page layout shifts can occur with files that have been printed
on one page using another printer, and when printing with
this machine, it can be that these files will not fit on one page,
as printing areas can vary depending on the type of printer.
Make sure to change the [Print Area] settings in the printer
driver.
The paper tray set using the printing conditions or the print
driver has priority than the paper tray set in the [Paper Select]
function in the control panel.
Set correctly the print conditions or the printer driver.
