Staple and Punch
Follow the procedures below to print a document using the Staple and Punch
functions.

A
From an application, select the menu command to print.
The print dialog box appears.

Open the Printer Properties.

Click to select the [Device Properties].
D
Click [Device Option] tab.

Click [Staple] (or [Punch] ) in the [Printer Functions box] and in the [configuration
settings] box, select the stapling (or punching) location.
F
Start printing from the application's print dialog box.
Macintosh
A
From an application, select [Print] from the menu command.
The print dialog box appears.
B
From the pop-up menu, select [Printer Specific Options].
C
Choose the location to staple (or punch) from the pop-up menu in [Staple]
(or [Punch] ).
D
After making all of the settings you want, click [Print].
Staple and Punch Position
The following tables show the sample of outputs of staple and punch positions.
Note
Outputs of staple and punch depends on paper size, paper type, number of
pages and feed direction.
